Cool idea, but too much going on in the image, light isn't used well really since I've got a whole blackboard (or whatever it is) visible in the background, some obtrusive shadows, and a generally 'amateur' feel to the image. Nothing wrong with being inexperienced, but I'm not going to give you points for it!

Good effort all the same, and keep working at it. Without trial, and inevitable error, we'd never get any better!
