I am particularly fond of this subject though they can make rather prickly friends. I think that the photo has good texture with nice color and great contrast. I do however find the blurry chunk in the upper right a bit distracting. These are difficult macro shots becuase the subject has so much depth, but at this distance there is very little depth of field. You might try a large aperture to increase the DOF or maybe a slightly different composition.
