beautiful scene - photo could be better - the rock (?) on the right looks like it is going to fall and crush the scene as it blots out the light - an interesting scenario. i think the problem is with the overly dark band of trees in the center which do not have much visual interest yet dominate the photo. cropping them also crops the field in front - do you really need the field?

the tree in the top right hurts this IMO and the brightness of the sun too but the sceenery is absolutely beautifull. I would of cropped it down a bit more or even tried to of got a better aproach .. even with scrolling this image with my mouse to remove the top 25% improves it IMO

Ok, here's the deal. This was a priceless moment, but your camera screwed up. It overexposed and completely blew out the sky in the upper right. If you had a neutral gradient filter, you could have avoided this. On the bright side, the shot has class and potential and focus is on point. It's just those blown out highllights that hurt. Good attempt. 5

There is a little too much dark areas in the image and it is also lacking a central focal point. The sky also looks blown out. Only suggestions I can make would be to shoot away from the sun in a different location. Perhaps moving more towards the lake and getting reflections instead of large clumps of dark treeline.
