"The Better to Hear You With, my Dear"by kposeyComment by PTLParsons: What can you say when the shot shows the tiny little blood vessels on the face and ear - in a photography contest. The contrast between the hearing ear and the body is fantastic. Good commercial shot for the hearing aid. Can't get much better than a 9 and I hate to give 10's. It takes "wow" and great eye appeal to get the 10 along with everything right technically. The more I look and think the more I must give the 10. Great shot. PTL Probably not a 1st place but photographlcly a 10. |

"The Better to Hear You With, my Dear"by kposeyComment by FranziskaLang: challenge -- met. definitely a close-up macro (you were covering both bases here, weren't you? ;) technical -- great clarity and focus. how did this look in b&w? the colors here don't do much for me (appears a bit yellow in places), which is why i'm wondering about b&w. composition -- good, even though i'd like to see the top of the ear, too. that's minor. the angle feels a bit funny, i think because the ear is diagonal in the shot. did you try portrait format? -- gr8photos. |

Tripped Breaker, Flashlightby kposeyComment by Anachronite: guess I have an unfair advantage.. but the breaker looks to be turned on and the hand is about to turn it off... then again maybe it's just the angle... good use of negative space though :o) |
