I like the green, it really stands out from the rest of the photo. To improve this run the picture through neat image, there is some noise visible on the fork. I also don't like the shadows at the top.

The only color being the green of the peas really makes your eyes focus on them. I think this is what makes this shot very interesting. I like the shadows that you have on the fork and the peas, but the shadow on the top left is a bit distracting. I can see something like this hanging in a person's kitchen or a restaurant. "8"

Nice work! The fork is a nice lead-in to the shot, and adds both interest and balance. Lighting is nice and bright, glorifying the peas just enough to make them interesting without overwhelming us with some kind of magic. The image suffers in clarity just a little, but I still like it a lot. 8

If you desaturated this one like I think you did, it was a really good choice. It makes the peas the center of focus to go with your title and shows them as something extraordinary, as requested in the challenge instructions.

Good color and textures of the peas. Lighting seems to be bright. It works ok in this shot but I would have preferred softer lighting for a shot like ths (macro). Also, I think the shadows in the backgroud (near the top) are distracting. Looks like you added noise to the image and it looks good. 7
