boy, what a tough choice: clone out the contrail and change the title, or title it to justify leaving in the contrail...i can see it both ways, but, in a challenge this large, i think you might fare better without it. beautiful image, in any event. good luck!

Thanks to everybody that left comments and voted. I didn't honestly think this would end with such a high score (picked up by most that it really didn't emphasise 'abandoned').

It was a fantastic evening when I shot, the freak passing clouds dumped a load of snow on me whilst sitting in a wind swept field. It had been a lovely day to this point, I went up there with little more than a t-shirt, then this cold front swept in!

Amazing picture, I would have prefered though a closer look to the windmill so I could appreciate the textures and details of the building
