The bird makes this more interesting but I'd try a different crop so it was not so centred.

Nice sharp clear photo. The exposure is great, and your DOF is right on. One thing that might make a slight improvement, would be to reduce the noise a little. Neat Image or similar program would work great.

I really like Cardinals, but we don't have them in this part of the country.
