George by Rando D300Comment by admart01: You've captured both strength and softness, wonderful light and great pose. One of my favorites this challenge |

George by Rando D300Comment by moodville: Wonderful light - it really sets the mood. A classic portrait. Only improvement I can see is a slight crop off the bottom to hide the gray bar in the bottom right corner. |

George by Rando D300Comment by Neil: This is a beautiful shot of this dog. I think a portrait mode composition would have worked better and I think using the rule of thirds would have made it more interesting than the centered approach. As composed, the equal balance between dog below his head and space above his head gives me a "chopped" impression on the dogs body--you want to see more. Still, very nice lighting and capture (7) |

George by Rando D300Comment by Beetle: The background is not attractive, but sufficiently dark and blurred to not be a problem. Your dog is beautiful and I like the soft, natural light. I would prefer it if he/she was looking at the camera, or at least a little more in "my" direction. |

George by Rando D300Comment by Neuferland: Awwwwwwwwwww, George is beautiful! How many treats did he get for being so patient? LOL!
I love this shot, just one tiny little thing kept it from being perfect and I originally scored it at a 9 but the one thing is so tiny I'm going to overlook it and make this a 10. Oh, the one thing? The white stray hair on his ear. :) |
