Day 3: Masonic Cemeteryby agrimaceComment by roz: very intersting shot ... really like the sepia and the way the gate is open in an 'inviting' sort of way!!! .. love those trees balancing/framing the gate as well .. image could be a bit tilted .. which brings me to how ppl often say they've rotated an image ... when i rotate an entire image i have to then crop it, and often lose the composition the way i wanted it .. i wonder if there's another way?? .. cant imagine there is, but i'll put it out there anyway ....... 1-30.jpgby agrimaceComment by Bruce_the_Robert: Nice b&w toned image -- I like toning, a bit too much, perhaps ;) but here it works well. I'm a bit distracted by the low branch in the foreground top that cuts into the top part of the house; lowering the angle just a tad may have put this above the house and pointed the viewer to the house. Just a thought! |

2-30.jpgby agrimaceComment by Retroesque: I think your conversion is absolutely beautiful. If you don't mind sharing I'd love to know how you achieved this.
My only thought is the darkening around the edges on the top of the photo detract somewhat on this otherwise lovely image. |
