object16by agrimaceComment by NeVeRyn: The color and soft lighting are wonderful - a simple way to prevent the reflection - at least of yourself would be to wear black of course, or poke the camera through black curtains. This would remove some of the highlights too though without using a reflector or something for lighting the foreground. |

object17aby agrimaceComment by menele: wow, a simple edit but I think this is much better than the original. I think shooting it with the teapot showing spout and handle more fully would be better compositionally, but I do like the mood of this shot. |

object16by agrimaceComment by jomari: I think your image is fine as it is. I think that people get rid of reflections by using light tents, but that gives a particular kind of picture, and doesn't add any context. Artists have often gone to great pains to include reflections on painted crockery. |
