Oh! wow.by GeorgesBogaertComment by roz: very disappointing when i see the votes ..
its a wonderful image .. especially when taking minimal into account ..
it can be disheartening when seeing the breakdown of votes on your image and the comparison with other photos in a challenge .
but i spose everyone has an opinion .. and we're all different ..
i try and separate myself from feeling disappointed when something i put in doesnt do as well as i would hope .. but sometimes that difficult to do .. i think of it as an opportunity for personal development .. !! .. often not achieved .. ;)

Oh! wow.by GeorgesBogaertComment by vawendy: Yup -- I agree with Sara -- This was my top vote. I assume people thought it's not enough about the windows. But seriously, what else could it be about?? |

Oh! wow.by GeorgesBogaertComment by streetpigeon: Lit like a movie set, what could they be looking at? Since we can't know, it's fascinating enough to gaze on their fascination, perhaps hazard a guess. It's a window unseen, but nicely bracketed by the bright windows across the way. What is appealing is the self-contained feel to this outdoor image, hemmed in by night. It's a curious moment on an enchanted byway. |

Finally, I got them quiet!!!by GeorgesBogaertComment by GeorgesBogaert: Originally posted by P-A-U-L: Congrats on the TT finish!
The new camera looks like it is settling in nicely. Be interested to hear your thoughts on it now you have had a chance to have a play? |
It's an amazing camera but this particular picture was really not good, my settings were wrong and it was shot in lower quality, could make it better in post.
It takes some time to get used to the Canon EOS RP and after 2 weeks my pictures are already way better. |
