Haunting Absenceby tyt2000Comment by jenesis: This is an amazingly beautiful shot and without even looking at the title, this is exactly the feel I got from this image. I like the softness of it and the b&w treatment is very nice. |

Public Art & Architectureby tyt2000Comment by photom: Complex indeed! This really works well in b&w. The border is too heavy for my taste - a thin black line would be better for me. Great tonal range - noice crisp. white and strong blacks. One very minor point - I'd like to see the entire "leaf" of the top of the artwork on the left side. |

Haunting Absenceby tyt2000Comment by Olyuzi: Love those (victorian?) windows! Depressed mood and vacant look give this image impact. Well done. 7 |

Haunting Absenceby tyt2000Comment by BobsterLobster: VERY nice shot, the composition is just superb. My eye is led around the various elements, but never wants to leave the frame. There is a sense of real perfection about the ratios here. The chair is the element that really makes this shot. The frame balances the photo perfectly. Exposure is spot on. I think I'd have liked a tad more sharpness... the blurriness here doesn't quite look deliberate enough. Nonetheless, this is one of my favourites this challenge. Thanks! 10 |
