broom vendor by whiteroomComment by JPR: this has that really good feeling of a goodman. it feels slightly out of focus and it's hurting my eyes to look at it a little but I think that might be fixable with a little unsharp mask. |

broom vendor by whiteroomComment by parrothead: Wonderful shot and probably a ribbon winner! Lovely detail and perspective. If there is one nit pick, its that its really doesn't say "high contrast" to me. 8 |

broom vendor by whiteroomComment by L1: What a stunningly beautiful portrait... excellent detail, beautiful tonal range, and a terrific example of high contrast. I wish I could give this one an 11. :) |

petiteby whiteroomComment by Tammer: I like the simplicity, but on my screen the bricks look highly saturated. I also like how the shoes are offset and not centered. The black is a good contrast to the bright red of the bricks (again, could just be my monitor) |

holy cowsby whiteroomComment by Jutilda: This is awesome. I love the depth of the tonality in black and white. Their placement is great in the shot with one facing almost half profile. This would be great for high contrast as well@@ Good job. |
