This is awesome. I love the grainy feel of it. The gentleman with the beard would make a great study up close. His determined expression adds to the busy city feel of the shot. I like the linear quality of it as well. Excellent work.

There's so much I love about this image, on so many levels. Superficially; the exposure, the colours and the smack-in-the-face gritty processing are a testament to your photographic skills. But beneath all that lies the real power of the photograph - the clever, cerebral composition, made especially so by the inclusion of the two detached profiles encroaching on the left. At this level, it challenges the viewer's imagination with an irresistible force bordering on an interrogation! I think that's a wonderful artistic achievement. This is just about my absolute favourite DPC image, Lesley. Just about my favourite image from any source, in fact. Thanks!
