there is a great and different texture to this image..the stairs, his feet, the faces at the left

Yet another wonderful picture. Funny thing is that if I took something similar to this, with the people on the left, I would delete it. You've turned it into a work of art.

I see that gentle hand and subtle burning, but just barely. your patience must be phenomenal :P

There's so much I love about this image, on so many levels. Superficially; the exposure, the colours and the smack-in-the-face gritty processing are a testament to your photographic skills. But beneath all that lies the real power of the photograph - the clever, cerebral composition, made especially so by the inclusion of the two detached profiles encroaching on the left. At this level, it challenges the viewer's imagination with an irresistible force bordering on an interrogation! I think that's a wonderful artistic achievement. This is just about my absolute favourite DPC image, Lesley. Just about my favourite image from any source, in fact. Thanks!
