Darn!! I missed this -- both in the challenge -- and the unfortunate aftermath of it getting DQ'd! I hate that. I bet you did it in RAW before you even opened the photo up too. That really seems like it oughta be legal. It's not even a photo before RAW converts it. It's almost like doing it in the camera.

Well at any rate, this is certainly another heart-stopping photo. Mesmerizing!

Such a beautiful shot, great composition and DOF. Love the expression and curiosity on the childs face, and the cross in the back adds such a story. Also really like the sepia tone, it adds a lot to this image. Very nicely captured.
