swooshby whiteroomComment by MelonMusketeer: That's a right crafty shot! It seems to be a shot thru a pet store window to me. It certainly makes for some good study. |

swooshby whiteroomComment by bob350: This is quite an intriguing composition. I doubt that abstracts have strict rules about right or wrong to determine what you should or shouldn't like. Still, the horizontal lines on the left (delivery dock door?) and the shape of the person's right foot take away attention from the bet parts of the image. Why have elements that drag this away from being totally abstract? If you crop those out (your choice on how much space to leave on the right), you end up with something that would feel right at home in the Museum of Modern Art, and that would easily draw viewers back for repeated long examination. |

swooshby whiteroomComment by SandyP: No, you should like it. I love the blinds and the lines it creates. . .but I wonder mightily what is going on with the whir of blur trying to zoom out of the photo. I think a person. . .but what is he holding. . .or dropping. Hmmmmm. . .fascinating.

swooshby whiteroomComment by Jutilda: It has oomph. Is it a person? I think I see his right leg. I like the duplicity of the shapes as they are blurred. VERY abstract. I might play with contrast to really make the whites POP and the browns and blacks more intense. ;~D |
