It looks like it would be a pretty nice rose - but the overexposure ruins it. I know it's probably deliberate for the neon color, but it doesn't work for me.

You've captured the neon colors but it appears to be at the expense of the image. The flower appears very processed (oversaturated, perhaps?). I think the extreme post-processing would have worked with a tighter crop--perhaps just the edge of the flower and some of the yellow? It would create a more dynamic composition which could carry the weight of the digital processing. As it is now, the composition, showing the flower in it's entirety in it's environment, is too natural for the unnatural effect. I hope I'm making my point well. ;-D

A bit of a turn-off for me in that to get this much brightness / saturation significant detail was sacrificed in the image. Just doesn't feel right to me.

I think this shot has potential. First off, it seems pretty dark. Maybe you could brighten it a little in editing. If you consider rule of thirds and leading lines, placing the dock and boat to the left might make a big difference.

Beautiful vista, a little dark. I would change the angle of view to move the boat to the right and get rid of the other boats etc.
