I'm neutral on this one... The light is bleaching out the colors... if it were shielded from the sunlight I think you may have been able to capture more vibrant color from both the main subject as well as the supporting element in the picture, which would have increased the contrast and put more focus on the subject itself.

This reminds me of my black lab, Aleister (boy). She looks so happy running towards you. I love the light you captured in her eyes. I think since she is looking at us straight on, it would be alright to center her, maybe crop out a little on the left. Still a beautiful capture.
