In the Moodby cainnComment by dragonlady: good use of light and shadow...there is just enough light to define the subject's face and for the observer to see his expression..8 |

In the Moodby cainnComment by Coley: different lighting ...like the black and white I would probably have cropped more of the right side |

In the Moodby cainnComment by Strikeslip: I like the lighting a lot. The subject and title make me a little uncomfortable, so I suppose the chicks will like it. ;-) |

In the Moodby cainnComment by snackwells: Nice tones. I think your choice of lighting is interesting but a bit strong over on the right side of the photo. Have you experimented with changing the direction and the intensity? I'm thinking perhaps reducing the intensity and adding a 2nd light or reflector from the left-rear to add a bit of counter illumination.
As for the pose, hey, whatever does it for you, big guy. :P |

In the Moodby cainnComment by ericsuth: nice shot, compositionally and lighting wise, post processing works. the only distracting element is the chain though |

In the Moodby cainnComment by NathanWert: If he's in the "mood" for what I think you're inferring, he doesn't look that excited. He actually looks kind of bored. I do like the lighting though, but not for this expression. |

Saratoga, NY.....Sit Back and Relaxby cainnComment by banmorn: Where is this at in Saratoga? I only get up there once every two years or so to sing with the Orchestra at SPAC. We get herded from Albany, Troy, Schenectady or somewhere near to SPAC and get like 3-4 hours in Saratoga Springs. That's about it...sure would like to see something different there...Centennial Park gets a little boring after awhile.
Sorry....Very nice peaceful setting. Like the composition. Sure wish it was a bit bigger so I could enjoy more....thx and good luck. |
