instepsby instepsComment by mariuca: The viewer's eye is directed so beautifully, clockwise, spiraling from the smaller hand on the right going up and landing on the lady's head. An excellent shot.
(as a side question, do we have the tendency with the processing and reducing to 800 pixels and such to enhance the contrast and sharpen the images too much?) |

Holdoutby instepsComment by Melethia: I'm not that familiar with Rothko (enough to recognize the colors) but what makes this for me is the shadow of the tree. Where the tree has been bent by the elements, the shadow stands straight and tall. Poignant in a way. |
