 Reflection from chrome detail on building. Trying to capture a self portrait in the style of Vivian Maier. If you don't know her story I highly recommend looking her up. Smithsonian Magazine ran a great article a few years ago. Might make an interesting challenge for a small minority on DPC.

Love the way the hands lead into the picture... and then it turns it's way around the way your head is pointing. Wonderful use of reflection and I like the subtle contrast of the greys.

I think it's the game we play on DPC. I often find myself pushing sharpness and contrast to far. The 800 pixel limit definitely contributes to this practice.

The viewer's eye is directed so beautifully, clockwise, spiraling from the smaller hand on the right going up and landing on the lady's head. An excellent shot.
(as a side question, do we have the tendency with the processing and reducing to 800 pixels and such to enhance the contrast and sharpen the images too much?)
