Bamboozledby BrennanOBComment by Pretzel: I really did make a double take on this one. Nice thought process! The blend line seems to be crooked, so not sure how the "horizontally" or "vertically" will pander out for most folks (especially the brutal ones), but I rewarded the pic itself. |

Kit lens dreams of DPC glory (custom bokeh excercise)by BrennanOBComment by BrennanOB: The point of the exercise was to use a cut mask (in this case a piece of cardboard with the DPC ribbon image as a cut out) to shoot through. The result of shooting through a cutout is that the "ooey gooey" of the normal soft circles of bokeh which is imparted by the camera lens' opening, is changed into whatever the cutout shape is. In this case the red, yellow, and blue lights would be normal soft circular bokeh if not for the mask. |
