Good coloration and the silhouette is great against that sky. The sky is a little blown out just above the ground on the lefthand side. The hard focus on the pole in the FG with a soft focus on the poles and cables in the BG left a little to be desired for me. I'd rather see a larger DOF for this shot. - 6

I can see the idea here - the desolate nature of the silhouetted landscape contrasting with the colours of the sky. However the telegraph poles just don't create a visually stimulating image for me. Aside from that, I'd also recommend looking at alternative compositions - perhaps having the poles towards the left or right rather than almost centred? Alternatively perhaps a portrait orientation that cuts out the land to the left and right of the three poles? An interesting idea but one that just didn't come quite work for me.

Not sure what it is but this does have the feeling I believe belongs in this competition. I think it might be the silouhette effect of the wires and poles!

maybe it's the lighting or the angle but it just doesn't look like he is actually laying down. It looks like you just creatively rotated the pic to give it that appearance.
