Light is Lifeby garlicComment by Jutilda: Very interesting and quite stunning. I love the combination of the blurred white lights with the botanical aspect of the leaves. Really a pretty shot. |

This is a nice b/w photo with good tonal range. The sky appears a bit too post processed though. Nice work. |

Where is dad?by garlicComment by ubique: Gone to get fuel for the mower, I hope! Interesting photograph, made especially so by the person (is it mother?) in the background. I like the dark, gothic tones, but not so much the theatrical processing of the sky. 7 |

Where is dad?by garlicComment by bcoble: Not real sure about the blur effect in the background. I do like the composition. Alittle dark? Still nice photo. |

Where is dad?by garlicComment by Rikki: The gaussian blur here for the sky seems a bit harsh especially since the edges of the house is now a lot sharper. Was it due to an overcast sky or no sky at all? I do like the composition and the look of the little boy. He seems a little pissed that dad isn't home yet ;) |

Where is dad?by garlicComment by dahkota: The sky doesn't look right but I love the rest of the photo. The tones are great. Fix the sky and this would be a 10. As is - 8. Good luck in the challenge. |

Where is dad?by garlicComment by kawhona: like the ambience of the shot ... I also like the dramatic light on the kids ... the older person in the back corner is more of a distraction than an addition to me. |
