Lovely image. Camouflage, alertness and staying alive is serious business, so please forgive me for indulging in the sense of sweetness I also feel. Perhaps it's the overall delicacy or the emotional projection of the sunlit tree trunks as guardian spirits. The tone itself is magical. There's an eternal story being told here, and I thank you for sharing it.
