Looks like you focused to close here. Around 2/3 of the depth into your image would give you hyperfocus and thus meet the challenge. Aside form that it's a pleasant pic but not much of interest outside of the challenge boundary.

Your background is not in focus, so your DOF is not so deep. getting a few steps back without zooming in, getting your flower in focus in the same way you did and cropping tighter to get the same image would have work with this one. Besides you photo is really great.

It seems the foreground here is in focus but the rest is not. Lovely composition, a postcard-worthy shot, but not really in line with the challenge theme.

Great image ..never thought of using the stacks for this challenge, although I`ve photographed them many times...well done
By the way, if it is Grangemouth and these are smoking stacks and not steaming stacks..then I`m getting into the car and getting as far away as possible :)
