Bastetby JutildaComment by jomari: This is a superb shot Judy. I absolutely love it. Love the lost/found aspect with all the important detail there. It looks great on my monitor - I wouldn't know if it's calibrated or not. My daughter's partner is my computer setter-upper. Anyway, the cat looks suitably godlike. |

Bastetby JutildaComment by roz: absolutely purrrfect .. lol ..
just the right amount of dark and just the right amount of excellent details ..
its an incredible shot judy .. so atmospheric and interesting .. the lighting is awesome .. i'm running out'v superlatives here coz its that amazingly good .. !
interesting you mentioning the calibrated monitor .. coz i'm on my laptop which i'm so unconfident using .. had something in the triptych challenge and unsubmitted it with five minutes to spare coz i dont know how it 'really' looks .. i've only to sit higher in the chair for the image to be too light and if i sit too far down then its too dark .. finding the right spot is frustrating .. i get other ppl's photographs up .. like ribbon winners and they seem to look perfect no matter where i'm sitting .. !!!..:)

shadowsby JutildaComment by roz: i had to go check out the score at dpc cinema .. CONGRATULATIONS in advance .. i can hardly wait to see your photo with the blue ..
five minutes later .. went to see if i could pick it out in the challenge and i cant .. there's two there that i particularly liked .. a horse and a deer, but when i really like something the voters often dont .. so its probably not one of those ..
anyway .. maybe i should comment on your gorgeous green eyed cat .. love the way he's looking right at you and not distracted by anything else at all .. seems like you're the centre of his world .. looks like he likes having his pic taken too .. i'd like to give him a cuddle .. !!..;) Message edited by author 2009-10-21 18:29:15. |

Old Grumpby JutildaComment by MaryO: You have got the light in your house under perfect control! Even catchlights on the shadowed side. |

Inquisitive Eyeby JutildaComment by MaryO: However did you get the cat in that perfect patch of light?! And posing so it just hits the eyes and makes a perfect catchlight, and the whiskers stand out ... really pretty. |
