Comment by Imagineer:
A creative alternative (one that also crossed mymind) and nicely done.

It's unfortunate that you have so much glare from the light above and I wonder if you actually needed it on? There seems to be suffiicient light elesewhere.

To avoid it I would experiment with hue and saturation to reduce the yellow cast or, as a last resort go mono with it, which may have the added effect of making the subject more abstract.

This is a neat shot. I like the idea in general, but this image has an impressionistic feel moreso than a soft focus feel.

I really like this....it is very soft....only a muffled glimpse of the subject, but it is clear in the delivery....the colors are vibrant too.

I've been wanting to do a flower photo using a shower door. This is really good. My only suggestion is that you try softer lighting. 7

bad points Everything, sorry just realloy not my kind of image. Very messy and unatractive. More hands or more meat would have been more dramatic.
Good points I guess because I dislike it so much it has some kind of emotional worth ;)
Overall Score 3 for the emotion it brought to me ;)

I understand your theme with this photo, but the visual here is a bit unsettling and not pleasant to look at :)

maybe more shots should have been taken of this activity and those submitted....focus needed a little help, maybe something we can focus or bring our eyes to....

I can't determine whether the turkey meat is raw (blood on left hands) or whether it is cooked, coming off for soup. I look forward to your explanatory comments...
