Jimminy!by DiamondPeteComment by Bran-O-Rama: Interesting that you included the shadow for color. Great lighting and strong contrast but I think what hurts this photo is a bit too shallow DOF. I'd like to see the entire grasshopper in focus, hind legs included. |

Japanese Seals Declare Victory!by DiamondPeteComment by Kolya: This is cool and clever - and a tighter crop would have added to it - we don't need all that water at the bottom of the image, and you probably could have cropped out the far left and right people (they're not making any hand signs either). |
