The colors and detail on the funjus is quite fine and there are some very nice textures contrasts between it and the surrounding dross. The branches and the white above are very distracting to me. This might have been better in a horizontal orientation giving more emphasis to the fungus and its immediate surroundings and losing the area above the fungus in the image as is.

I think this would have been better if it were cropped closer at the top. The tree branches and white sky don't add to the photo.
