Flooding Continuesby weavercComment by photom: Sad but true and definitely a typical newspaper story. Nice B&W rendering. It would be even better with a human or animal presence somehow. |

Lurkingby weavercComment by coolhar: the out-of-focus desaturated part dominates this to the point of obscuring the subject, whatever that creature with the red eye is supposed to be. Perhaps leaving color in it's face as well as just the eye would have improved this; also cropping so that the subject was a larger proportion of the frame; you did get the desaturation part right- the non-eye parts are properly greyscaled. |

Lurkingby weavercComment by aznym: I think a tighter crop would have worked better on this image. Shiny bits on the left are distracting and I think without them this image would have made a bigger impact. |

Lurkingby weavercComment by Bran-O-Rama: Pretty creepy but 80% of this photo is blurred foreground which is very distracting. |

Lurkingby weavercComment by photom: The red eye-shape is very nice - but the entire rest of the picture is so OOF that it's pretty hard to relate. |

Flooding Continuesby weavercComment by ckallies: Hope you were in a boat when you took this one. Nice shot, the reflections are almost scenic while the drowned trailer if far from it. |
