Far too dark with too much negative space for me to find much interest, sorry.

You need a well set up monitor to appreciate this to the full - very mysterious and a good capture. cropping to left of the face would work OK too.

This is a cool technique. It can yield nice photos if you leave the shutter open for a longer period of time and watch the noise level. I think this is just a little too dark and seems to not be terribly steady on the face. The candle seems to be perfectly still but the face seems soft. Did you use a tripod for this shot? How long was the exposure? Is the subject wearing something around his neck and head or is this totally based on the light produced by the candle? Good idea.

Being a fireman myself I found it hard not to like this image. I like how you got rid of all color except the fire. Nice shot, I gave it a 7.

Comment by faidoi:
The desaturation of the colors except the fire makes your eyes focus on the fire. The normally red or yellow color of the truck is white, which is interesting. It actually brings your eyes toward the side of the truck and follows the water toward the fire. This gives you eyes some great focus points. From "9" to a "10"

Having just the flames in color makes this image very dramatic.
