Fall From the Sky by steinarComment by graphicfunk: Steiner: this is simply magnificent. This image has movement within a great expanse and it is an outstanding coming together of many ingredients. The body position soars and the expression is right there to exploit the the overhang of the hands against the turbulent sky. Done like a master!
Congratulations on your blue! |

Fall From the Sky by steinarComment by tate: i commented during the challenge but thought I would say congrats (I thought that this had to be a backdrop ... unless you live in Iceland or something :) ... Upon further observance ... even the clouds seem to fit just perfectly in this image. Notice how the left cloud is semi parallel with the arm and flows toward the body like a wing ... clouds on the right conform along the shape of the hand. The set-up is great and the bit of luck with the clouds make a semi-subliminal balance that is appealing in many ways. You've raised the bar a bit for self portraits me thinks. |

Fall From the Sky by steinarComment by curtiskaj: This picture amazes me immensely. I cannot believe how great it looks and the fact that it isn't photoshop'd makes it all the more impressive. Great job man! |

Self_portrait-setup.jpgby steinarComment by SJCarter: You rock for sharing this setup with us. Very cool. Thank you!!! It's this kind of stuff that really helps us "newbies" & "wannabees" and makes DPC such a great place. Amazing work. WOW (Even the photo of the setup is good... LOL) ;-) Message edited by author 2006-05-30 10:33:55. |
