This is adorable, I like the way the baby is grasping the adults hand, and the intent look on the baby's face as if it is listening with a great deal of interest. The miracle of life always makes me happy and to see it displayed like this is wonderful This is great ( 9 )

Ah, a favorite book of mine, always brings tears to my eyes. But this picture stand well on its own, and fits well with the title, It captures the intense look of a baby and the feeling of love and nostalgia that a parent gets holding that little hand. The hands are an important part of the piece - a contrete connection between the parent and child that is also an abstract connection you can see in the child's eyes. Perhaps the hand should be in focus too. I wish there was more definitiion in the baby's clothes, so we could see the soft texture, rather than just the bright whiteness which makes the babt's head seem like it is floating, not connected. Still brings tears to my eyes to remember...

The toning is good. The idea is good. The focus is good. I don't like how all the white is blown out. There should be a lot of texture in there that I'm longing to see.
