House on the Mountainby RgarciaComment by cpanaioti: This reminds me more of Heidi than Little House on the Prairie.
The meadow with house, the mountain and the sky give a nice layered effect. |

Candid 02by RgarciaComment by jbsmithana: Nice clarity and color. Good capture. I would crop a little more of the left side and, as Jinjit says, the ear on the right out. Also, if the original has more of his head I would leave it in at least to the top. Otherwise it is a great portrait. |

House on the Mountainby RgarciaComment by Jinjit: I don't like the blue background.
It looks un-natural, as if it was another picture projecting in the back.
I like the vivid colors of the grass and the house and the cows. But I would try to get the mountains and the sky in the background to be less blue and a bit closer in their colors to the foreground. |

Through the doorby RgarciaComment by Jinjit: Nicely done.
I like the "frame" - door that adds a lot of interest to this picture.
Without it, the view is beautiful, but would be boring in a photograph.
simple and peaceful |

Candid 02by RgarciaComment by Jinjit: I like the expression on the guy's face. Also, the two parts of shirts on the bottom corners, frame the face nicely.
I would clone out the "nobody's ear" on the right though :-)
nice work!

A Merry Tropical Christmas!by RgarciaComment by Rgarcia: Originally posted by graphicfunk: This was an awesome entry. Very creative. |
Thanks a lot!
I also thought so, but it seems that the hat idea was not very clever. I think aguapreta was right to think that many wouldn't realize this was a coconut, thus many voting this one down as "staged".
I hope to score better in the future. |
