Sibling Rivalry (Sisters)by idnicComment by Joey Lawrence: Too studio and set up for such a shot. I mean, I don't hate set up shots but this seems way too corney with the plain background, poses, ect. A tighter crop would have helped as well |

Morning Surfby idnicComment by andri: Now, applying a slight blue tone to B&W photographs can be pretty neat sometimes but you most definitely did overdo it here. The tone needs to be much more subtle! It's also a bit too purple for my taste.
As for the picture itself I think you should have cropped somehwat closer to the action. 30%-50% of the sky should be cut out and and I think it would have been nicer had you croped a tiny bit more from the right and maybe also from left.
The picture is also a bit too dark for my taste. Perhaps you are working with a too bright LCD-monitor? |

Sibling Rivalry (Sisters)by idnicComment by thomaspeople: I like the idea here. The expressions definitely capture a "family" moment. however, the studio background takes away from the "candid" apearance. Perhaps if the girls were in a bedroom it would seem more natural. Good picture though. |

Sibling Rivalry (Sisters)by idnicComment by garlic: Litle comic and realistic I belive. The redish sepia toning doesn´t increase my interest. Seems litle stiff but nice experiment. |
