I like the subtle color here. horizon is slightly off. imo if you had looked more right to get the buoy and the bird at the 3rds marks with a closer crop would have been better.

I always try to understand what the photographer was thinking when they compose and take a picture. At first I see a scene of dirt and brush, interesting clouds and your title which suggests a beach scene. Then I see the smokestack in the background and I wonder what its relevance is in your composition. Maybe I̢۪m reading too much into it but I̢۪m imagining that you are making a statement about the environment, possibly the effects of global warming and man̢۪s role in it all. Am I right? If that is the case I give you high marks for a very introspective and controversial creative composition.
