I think the hue is just slightly on the too pink side of things. I also don't really care for the composition of the image. I try not to cut off the head unless there is a reason, or an effect that I want to achieve.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

This is just an ok candid for me. If I were to list it in a category myself, I would list it under b/w and then emotive, but not a candid. Although it is a candid moment, it is just a bit too expected considering the story the photo tells of the event the child is at. As for technicals, the focus on the child is good; it has nice tones and good lighting.
