Very dramatic light - not only the pillar but also the rest of the sunset as well as the light in the clouds. [Might consider cropping left side by 20-25% to move the pillar further away from the center.]

Ooh, this is close! Definitely too close for me. I would like to have seen the Exif for this shot and what lens you were using. You have some excellent detail in the fur but the face appears a little soft to me. The only other thing I find slightly distracting is the long blade of grass on the bears right ear. Still a great capture!

This is a beautiful capture of your Dad! He has wonderful blue eyes and I find myself smiling with him as I look at this image. I can't believe he is 87, he looks much younger. Correct me if I'm wrong but, just from looking at this image I get the feeling he tells some great stories! :o)

Rainbows are so difficult to capture, by the time I've got my camera out of the bag they tend to have disappeared! I love how you have captured the sun in the foreground, it automatically pulls me in to the picture and I find myself not only looking at the great colours in the rainbow but also at the way the light is hitting the land in different places. Nicely done :o)
