I have to confess that I like your entry for the Waiting challenge much better than this one. The waiting one really focuses the viewer on the hands and the belly. I understand that most people, when they have photos done obviously want to have their heads in the shot, too :) I guess when I look at this, the hands look too posed, and while I understand that they both are looking at the belly, they both have rather sad looks on their faces which is in big contrast with the joyous event of having a baby. I do like the b&w treatment here, but could also see just a bit of toning work well, it could give the photo a slightler warmer feel. Just my thoughts of course. I've only just started to do portrait photography (well, really just one time) and I never thought it would be as hard work as it was!

This is such a touching image. It shows the beauty of the love between them as well as for their unborn child. The B&W treatment is nice as well. Nicely captured. :o)

I think this shot was underrated. Perhaps there is a little too much highlight on the left side, but I really like how you have shaded much of the ball, and filled the entire frame with it. Nice work!

Having recently had a baby in our family, this one hits really close to home. I like how you have included the father's hands here - it shows the love of an entire family. A really great feeling comes from this shot. The contrast in the B/W conversion is nice as well.

I wanted to do something like this, but my wife is only four months pregnant. You've captured a very moving photograph. I hope others recognize how nice this really is. 10
