This is a great subject! Two suggestions if you get the chance to shoot this again: Try a couple of exposures, and layer them so the roof/sky in the top right isn't so hot, but you still have great exposure on the porch. Also, if possible, take a step or two back so the flag isn't cut off and there is just a little more room leading to the front step. I like the border as well.

This is lovely... I like the angle you've chosen. If you have an opportunity to reshoot, try crouching down a bit to get the bottom of the gate, or backing up some. I think it would be nice to see the entire gate/walkway. Great frame and font. :o)

As with the iris, I think I like this one better than the one with no frame. For some reason, I feel like this adds more breathing room to the shot. :o)

Beautiful place! I like the colors and the angle. I do wish the roof/top right corner weren't so blown out, but it isn't too distracting. With the vibrant colors, this might look good with a hint of Feivel's Gothic Glow action...it's a free PS action download you can find at //www.atncentral.com. :o)
