Captured in Grand Canaria, this is not really the desert, it is an area of coastal dunes.
The mesh pattern is dried mud (it rains sometimes).
Lots of people ther, lots of tracks, and I unfortunately forgot to erase some of them...

Seemingly born for black and white imagery. The textures and contrast are a treat for the eyes. The shapes and contours are almost dizzying to behold.
Would have bumped one if there were no tracks.
Still, co-second favorite of the challenge.
