I think you needed a bit more fill-light to bring out the texture of the thing against the brightness of its own lights - that balance seems skewed in favour of the screen and buttons. It might just be a processing thing, but I have to really brighten my screen to see other than just one edge - and yes, my machine is calibrated.

You could've shown the smooth texture better. Having brighter lighting, and more reflections of of the surface would have helped. I also think that the bright screen is a little distracting.

An interesting concept and approach. However, the "monitor" is a bit blown out, while the rest of it is way too dark; barely any texture or anything visible.

I don't feel it. IMHO the pictures in this challenge are supposed to make the viewer "feel" the texture, and I don't feel it. Don't get me wrong I like the picture but it doesn't fit the challenge.
