Excellent composition here (IMO)! Simplicity at it's best, great use of negative space and it adds because your facing into the photo as if there is something hiding in that white space! I would have burned the shadow out of existence (well out of the photo anyways). Good Luck.

seems flat, you need to either exagerate your side light or add a back light, a perfectionist would do both. but i like the angle your sitting on the chair, makes me unconfortable, i guess thats how i would feel in emptiness 6
