Under a Blue Skyby jenesisComment by Haneck: Exquisite! The shallow DOF works so well in this image. I really love the way the rose's peachy color is repeated in the out of focus spots in the background. A perfect shot. :) |

Columbia River Sunsetby jenesisComment by Melethia: Oh my. You didn't miss at all - you hit it perfectly. This is sublime. This is light that holds all the magic of the day to keep it safe during the night. This is wonderfully, deeply real. Beats the crap out of oversaturated deep blue/orange sunsets in my book. |

Columbia River Sunsetby jenesisComment by cgino: I must echo everyone else's comment and agree that the cool blue and golden tones are beautiful! I'm sure the sky would have been amazing a bit earlier, but this is amazing in a more peaceful way. |

Columbia River Sunsetby jenesisComment by SandyP: Ohmy. . .this is so beautiful! You can still see the sunset colors in the water, and I love the night time blue. This is a gorgeous dusk/night photo. I think equally as good as if you had caught the sunset in its peak.

Fly Like a Minnowby jenesisComment by SandyP: That is so amazing! And what an amazing story. The experience alone had to be worth it. I love how you can see the reflection of the fish in the water.
I bet the bird was beautiful too!

Columbia River Sunsetby jenesisComment by Jutilda: The blue/yellow colors always work well together. I don't have any water that's particularly close to me other than a creek (without driving several miles to get to a lake) so getting to see this vicariously through you is NICE. We call that "buttermilk sky." I think it's beautiful. |
