Silent reflectionby geewhyComment by tyt2000: Excellent portrait Gordon! I like the tone which fits really well with the lighting. The guitar helps say something about your son... |

Silent reflectionby geewhyComment by Allisyntec: Great composition, tones and contrasts in this photo, well done!
I think the only minor thing I have about this photo is that touch of rim light hitting his neck on the left, if I crop off the last inch from the left, at the end point of his eyebrow, for me, makes the picture all the more dramatic. I think because the neck rim highlight level is the same as the bright highlights to his right it detracts from the power of the overall photo, as soon as I cover that left inch I really love it! |

Silent reflectionby geewhyComment by Imagineer: Hey you really should have left some good looking genes for the rest of us you know! Nice work Gordon - love the light and tone. I take it he's in a band/musician. Looks like he may have an official photographer on the cheap. : ) |

Who`s afraid of the big, bad, wolf?by geewhyComment by Imagineer: I knew this was yours Gordon - was going to come back to it but had little time to vote or comment recently.
Great stuff (if a little too overprocessed for my taste). You have a wonderful appreciation of light and its effects, coupled with a sensitive approach to the processing. Your original has a touch more charm in my view since you left your challenge shot open to the presumption of extensive filter treatments. This does of course only matter if winning is the desired outcome! |

This way to Granny`s houseby geewhyComment by kcwhisper379: Wow, this is absolutely beautiful. A wonderful dark shot. I too am interested to see your actual challenge submission. It is soooo eerie. It's like the wolf set it up...This way to Granny's huh? This way to the wolf's belly is more like it. Very nice. |

reluctant models2by geewhyComment by ursula: Beautiful shot, great b/w. They look a lot alike, especially little things like the shape of the teeth, the little laugh-lines below the eyes, the curve of the eyebrows, the chin. They're beautiful. |

Dappled light2by geewhyComment by ursula: This is in Scotland? The pattern formed by the sunbreaks on the slopes is lovely, as are the colours in this picture. Makes you want to visit Scotland. |
