Beautiful colors, great composition and sharpness, and an excellent DOF. Love the bird's expression, too. If I *had* to pick a fault, I would say that the tip of the beak has a washed-out spot, but honestly, it doesn't bother me or detract from my overall impression of this photo. Good luck in the challenge!

A very vivid and bright image. Wonderful colors with good detail in the feathers. Considering the entire bird isnt in the shot a tighter crop may have worked better. The background looks nicely blurred but the beak and the shoulder are also a little OOF so just shifting the focus a tad or closing down the aperature a little more would have gotten more of the bird in focus. A very cheerful shot.
