A classic subject and presentation. I find myself wanting to rotate the focal plane so the OOF bit pointed right at me is in focus while the rest of the flower fades away.

I like this point of view and the use of negative space, also well lit and exposed. Very graphic and striking, and meets the challenge well too.

Thanks so much everyone for the great comments and the votes. I really appreciate it.
This was taken at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne Florida. They have a wonderful assortment of birds that are very visible and easy to photograph. This one along with his/her partner posed for me for quite some time.
