Oh, here's a twist (for me). I'm surrounded by zebras every day, but mine are all Burchell's or plains zebras. These are something else; I think they're Grevy's zebras. Anyway, stripey buggers that I once heard a child call "pyjama horses", which I think would be a good official name.

I like your processing because it makes the picture seem like an illustration from a 19th century travel book (and I love reading those!) Given the vegetation visible this must surely be in a zoo, but if so you've done a good job making it look natural.
